Rumor: Apple looking to buy Twitter?
According to Gawker, Apple would be looking to buy Twitter, and with one of the best offers that are rumored to go around from many other companies as well (Google, Facebook, Microsoft). Gawker talks about numbers that would go over 700 million dollars, which would be higher than the 500 million offered by Facebook.
In a way, that rumor could explain the enthusiasm from Apple towads Twitter lately, starting from official accounts from some of the work team and the news of a Twitter business profile on Apple’s website.
Of course, we’re treating as a rumor, as it should be for now.
