iPad to be launched worldwide on April 24th?

It seems that the rumors claiming that the worldwide launch for the iPad would come on April 24th are now being somewhat confirmed by internal sources on Apple Canada. Of course, we’ll treat it as a rumor still as they’re not official, but it seems like the Apple Stores are getting ready for receiving the customers.

April 24th seems to be the date chosen by Apple for the launch of the iPad outside the USA. The Canadian Apple staff was informed that April 24th and April 25th will be “blackout periods”. Which means the Apple Store employees cannot take any days off during those dates. Chris Brandrick, from The Apple Blog, reminded readers that these blackout periods are very rare, hence something big is happening during those days.
