Review: Apple iPod Nano 4G - Part 3
The main new feature on this new model, however, is the accelerometer, already featured on the Apple iPod Touch. In the horizontal mode, it’s possible to browse the album covers in Cover Flow, while in the vertical mode, it’s possible to view album and artists in a single screen. Moreover, it’s also possible to search the songs by browsing the covers with the Cover Flow, or pushing the central button. If the user wants to change songs, all it takes is shaking the player, that will automatically choose another song in its library.
Also, the player features some games made specifically for the iPod and the accelerometer, since they include labyrinths and paths to be made by twisting and shaking the player. There’s also the possibility of downloading many other games from iTunes as well. But, as most users know, iTunes gives the possibility of downloading much more: from games to songs and even applications, audiobooks and podcasts.
