Rumors: AT&T seems to have confirmed the new iPhone
According to BoyGeniusReport, internal sources at AT&T would have confrmed the launch of the new iPhone model. The succesor to the iPhone 3G should be first announced in mid June, confirming the “tradition” of one new phone from Apple every year.
The new smartphone seems to have been defined “faster than the previous” and with brand new features that were never found on any other models (the reference doesn’t seem to apply only to the OS). Also, it seems Apple has decided to please users by offering some of the most requested features.
The UMTS connection should be brought up to 7.2Mbps and AT&T should offer new applications to allow users to fully experience the services.
We’ll have to see if all those rumors are true. We’ll stay tuned!
