Rumors: Apple orders 3.2 megapixel cameras for the new iPhone

Apparently, it seems that Apple has ordered 3.2 megapixels CMOS lenses from Omnivision to be used on the next iPhone. Until it’s officially confirmed, we’re labeling it as a rumor, but it’s not the only thing we’ve found out.

Also, besides the 3.2 megapixel cameras, it seems that the company has also ordered a good number of 5 megapixel lenses for a “mysterious” product that will be presented by the end of the year. The 3.2 Megapixel photocamera and other video-recording features found on the firmware 3.0 beta would allow the next iPhone to take pictures and make videos with a rather decent quality.
