Review - iPhone 3G - Part 3
Looking simply at its exterior, the iPhone presents itself as a rather compact device: its sizes are 115,5 x 62,1 x 12,3 mm, and it weighs 133 grams. Apple chose to apply little variations to the original design, simply choosing smoother forms with round angles.
From a technical point of view, the iPhone 3G is a dual mode device, working on UMTS/HDSPA (850, 1900, 2100Mhz frequencies) and GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 Mhz frequencies) that support 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connections and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, although the bluetooth connections are limited only to the headset use, which is rather hard to comprehend.
