Review - iPhone 3G - Part 19
Final Considerations - Part 3
The iPhone, although some of the advertising slogans present it as a device that “does a good work with your work”, it’s a device built to make phone calls, listen to music, watch videos and visualize email and informations. The term “visualize” is the key on its philosophy. Users can receive emails with Office documents in attachment, mp3s, images, but the iPhone only allows the visualization of those. In fact, only for the images there’s the possibility of saving them locally, while all the other files (the mp3 included) are only accessible online. Also in this case, it’s a problem that can be easily solved with a software update and we cannot help but hope that Apple will think of delivering such a thing soon enough.
