Review - iPhone 3G - Part 17
Final Considerations - Part 1
Is the iPhone the device that will start the revolution in the cellphone market? In fact, the actual phone functions on Apple’s phone seemed its weakest point (and here we mean the call functions and SMS’s). In particular, the criticism goes to the choices made when it comes to the SMS management, which are very limited to a cellphone of this category. We hope that Apple realizes it and works on applying more flexible features as soon as possible through a firmware update.
Another big lack that we cannot help but mention is the lack of support to the MMS and videocalls. Objectively speaking, these are features that are present in most, if not all phones currently being sold at the same price range as the iPhone 3G. It’s up to the user if this is an essential need or an acceptable compromise when considering the iPhone as their new cellphone.
