Review - iPhone 3G - Part 13
E-mail
The e-mail client in the iPhone allows the user to manage more than one account simultaneously. The accounts and the folders inside each one of them are divided in a list with fields that are big enough to be clicked with the fingers. The inbox customization is simple and even though the account settings are, at first, the same for all services (except the Microsoft Exchange-based ones), the user will find some of the most used e-mail services, in order to make sure that the access procedure will be done with no issues. For those services listed, some of the parameters (such as the pop and smtp servers) are pre-loaded and the user only needs to fill in with password and email address.
The usage of each account seemed rather functional and simple to manage. It’s worth mentioning the good choice by Apple when it comes to the attachments in each email: the user chooses whether to download them or not.
