Review - iPhone 3G - Part 11
The top left icons on the display show the connection status, which allow the user to see whether the 3G connection or the wi-fi is being used, or if the phone is in “flight mode”, which turns all the connections off in order to be compatible with the rules while inside a plane.
The contact management is very detailed: each phonebook entry can be personalized with a large series of data and information, and also with a specific identification photo. There’s also the possibility of choosing a different ringtone for each contact. The iPhone doesn’t save the contact information directly on the SIM card, however. Which means that if you should ever transfer your SIM to another phone, you will not be able to view any of your phone numbers stored, unless they were previously memorized on the SIM by using another phone.
