Latest iPhone firmware may cause iTunes to hang: a solution
After the latest firmware update for the iPhone, some users have noticed some problems when synchronizing the device with iTunes. In particular, after the latest update, iTunes may hang in the middle of the synchronization process. Luckily, the issue can be solved by following these steps:
- Launch iTunes
- In the “store” menu, click on “Withdraw Access Authorization to this computer”, and type in the password needed for the iTunes Store
- Still on the same meny, authorize the computer again and enter the identifier and password for iTunes. In most of the cases, this is enough to make things work normally. Some people, however, have reported the need to “buy” a new application, even if free, in order to solve the issue. We can only hope for a further update to solve this problem once and for all.
