iPhone software 2.2 to be released soon?
The German site iPhone-Ticker.de has noticed that Apple has changed the iTunes link from http://phobos.apple.com to http://itunes.apple.com. This detail and the new podcast function found in the 2.2 firmware beta should be an indicative of an upcoming release for the iPhone software 2.2
With the 2.2 firmware, also Street View should come. Street view is a feature from Google Maps that shows a road at terrain-level.
According to iPhoneHellas.gr, a Greek site dedicated to the Apple phone and judged by Gizmodo as reliable, the new software should be released in not more than 10 days through iTunes.
