iPhone 4G to be launched on June 22nd?
Apple could have already scheduled the official date for the presentation of the new iPhone. The rumors say that the company has chosen June 22nd as the date to present it, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The date could coincide with the next WWDC.
The WWDC was usually held at the Moscone Center West, included the keynote: that’s how it was last year. However, the scheduled events on the Moscone have changed in the last few months: an unknown event went from June 28th to June 23rd, then was cancelled. It doesn’t mean, however, that Apple hasn’t asked the Center to keep the dates secret.
However, Apple has only used the Yerba Buena Center for small events, such as the iPad launch. Publically, the company has promised to launch the iPhone 4.0 during summer, and during the last three years, it has used the WWDC for the iPhone’s official presentation. We’ll have to see.

They are completely NEW phones with new hardware. The Iphone 4 has more RAM, a better processor and a better photocamera. You can’t simply upgrade a phone. Some carriers have an “upgrade your iPhone” campaign, but it depends on the country and the mobile carrier. Apple doesn’t upgrade your iPhone when a new model comes out, so you need to buy a new one.
What you can do is upgrade your software. We explain how on this article:
