Apple working on iPhone’s new generation?
The smartphone market is certainly one of the most hyped ones lately, with new devices made by different manufactures and presented frequently. Not too many days ago, for example, Toshiba has decided to try their hands on the cellphone business with their new smartphone called TG01, and now comes the rumors that Apple would be already working on a new generation of their famous iPhone.
According to the rumors, not yet to be treated as official news but somewhat indirectly confermed by a spokesperson for Etisalat, a phone company in the United Arab Emirates, the new Apple iPhone should be lauched around June this year, and it would support videocalls and application multitasking.
As for the first feature, Apple has in fact deposited a patent to protect some ideas that could become advanced videoconference functions. The second technology would require a simple update on the firmware for the iPhone, in order to use all the power on the new CPU.
We’ll be tuned to see whether this rumor confirms itself or not.
