Apple will benefit from the NAND-Flash memories

The profit margin of some Apple products seem destined to raise, due to the constant lowering of the costs on the NAND-flash memories, according to what was reported by MacRumors. The benefits for Apple will be indeed two: in a short-term, more profits in the current product lines and in a long term, the storing capabilities of their products (iPod, iPhone) will be enlarged, keeping the final price constant. In fact, that fact could make for a much more interesting iPod and iPhone lines in the future.

On the computer front there should be yet another revolution: the more decisive use of Solid State Disks. Currently, these disks are offered as an option (like in the case of the MacBook Pro) or with higher costs which make them not ideal.

Some of those news might be presented by next January, during the Mac World event at San Francisco, since it would be, basically, only an enhancement on storage options.
